About Me
I am a Swiss/Uruguayan filmmaker who has lived most of his adult life in Argentina and Switzerland. I have a strong background in directing, production coordination and media management and have experience working with clients world-wide. In 2014 I came back to Switzerland where I had the opportunity to collaborate with Ledfilms a local production company that already had a wide list of clients. I have also worked independently as a filmmaker and photographer for many clients in Switzerland and abroad.
I started my working experience for the Mar del Plata International Film Festival, a category A festival, as a production coordinator managing all aspects of production; from supervising special guests, official jury activities, day-to-day planning of all the festival’s events such as master classes to working closely with the press agencies to expand the festival’s reach of communication.
During my studies at film school I co-founded an audio-visual production company in Buenos Aires. I coordinated a team of professionals (which varied in number according to the size of the project) who would collaborate with us to meet our clients goals and expectations. Amongst our clients we had a top notch newspaper, La Nacion, who confided in us to create their online content for several years, Unilever Latinamerica, Planeta DeAgostini publisher and several advertising agencies amongst others. We also undertook a 5-years project together with an art gallery and UNICEF where we would involve elite sportsmen to raise funds for the underprivileged.
Apart from my previous works I participated as a Key production assistant for Police certifiable, a concert film about The Police music band during the 2007-08 reunion tour and Better than therapy, a documentary about The Police's historic reunion. I was also a director for the making-of of Felicitas, a blockbuster feature film from argentina as well as for Panamerican dreams documentary, selected at The Beverly Hills Film Festival. Lastly I was co-producer and co-director of A Patagonia tale, a documentary short shot in the south of Argentina that was selected at The Cannes festival short corner, Four Docs, DLA film festival and Rushes, Soho Short Festival.
I like interacting with people and enjoy working closely with others as a part of a team or as a leader. My experience in different fields over the last 15 years gives me the possibility to have a unique approach to the client’s goal. As a filmmaker, I look for projects that explore the limits of humanity's search for spiritual truth in ways that reveal new perspectives on current social, political and environmental events.
